The mailing of summonses through the Gosuslugi portal began in St. Petersburg in a test mode, and the possibility of sending SMS is also being worked out. This, according to RIA Novosti, was reported by the city’s military commissar, Colonel Sergei Kachkovsky.

On the eve of the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov (ER) said that electronic subpoenas for the spring draft in 2023 can be sent out in test mode, but they will definitely be duplicated in traditional, legally binding ways.

“A unified state system of military registration is being formed, data on citizens who must be on military registration are flowing there, <…> and the notification will go through the “Gosuslugi” or at the place of residence. If it is not possible to notify through the State Services, then we will (notify) with the usual agenda, ”added the military commissar of St. Petersburg.

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on changes to the legislation, which involve the creation of a unified register of those liable for military service, and also introduce electronic summonses and restrictions for dodgers.
