For many years, the mainstay was a house located in Warsaw’s Wawer district. Despite the ubiquitous nature, the singer missed the big city buzz to which he was used to in his youth. He bought a flat in Saska Kępa and although it was a dream come true, he did not stay there for too long.

Some time ago he gave an interview to Fakt.pl. In an interview, he admitted that for many years he had dreamed of having his four corners in Saska Kępa, but when he finally came into possession of his dream apartment, he quickly realized that it was not his place. Despite many advantages and a great location, the singer had to face many limitations. “The city turned out to be no longer a place for us. Saska Kępa is very beautiful, we met very nice people, but in fact everything is very close, everyone is next to each other and this is not a place for us where it is cramped and there is no space that we need – in conversation. In addition, the rules in the building turned out to be a major obstacle. The obligatory curfew prevented the musician from playing the instruments he was used to in the evening. – We missed playing in Saska Kępa, because there segment after segment it was impossible to play instruments at night, because it disturbed other residents – said Gawliński.
Robert Gawliński left Warsaw. Moving to the countryside turned out to be the right choice
Onerous restrictions prompted the artist to move again. After only two years, the Gawlińskis left the capital and settled in a small town a few kilometers outside the city. However, the apartment in Saska Kępa did not remain empty. The sons of the lead singer of the Wilki band, Beniamin and Emanuel, stayed in a cozy place. – Young people should live in the city, go to concerts, parties, theaters, exhibitions, they should absorb as much as possible – said Gawliński’s wife, Monika, in the same conversation.
