Cristiano Ronaldo to face deportation from Saudi Arabia for obscene gesture

Al-Nasr Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is under threat of deportation from Saudi Arabia. This was announced by the lawyer Nouf bint Ahmed in Twitter.

The lawyer said that she intends to file a lawsuit with the prosecutor’s office against the player for an obscene gesture. She stressed that his behavior is considered a manifestation of public indecency and is one of the crimes requiring arrest and deportation if committed by a foreigner.

On April 18, Al-Nasr lost to Al-Hilal with a score of 0: 2 in the match of the Saudi Arabian Championship. After the end of the meeting, Ronaldo, leaving for the room under the stands, grabbed his groin, while the fans of the hosts chanted the name of the Argentine PSG striker Lionel Messi.

The Portuguese moved to Al Nasr on December 30, 2022. The striker’s contract is for two years. His salary at the club is 200 million euros per year, making him the highest paid athlete in the world.
