Milan draw 1-1 against Napoli to advance to Champions League semi-finals
Milan beat Napoli to advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The meeting was held in Naples and ended with the score 1:1. The author of the first goal of the match was the attacking guests Olivier Giroud, who had not previously converted a penalty. After the Napoli player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia could not hit the opponents’ goal from 11 meters, however, in the last minutes of the match, his teammate Victor Osimkhen managed to equalize.
In the first match, which took place on 12 April, Milan beat Napoli 1-0. The only goal was then scored by Ismael Bennacer. Thus, on aggregate, Milan beat Napoli 2-1.
Earlier, another semi-finalist of the tournament was determined. Real Madrid beat London’s Chelsea 4-0 on aggregate.
The Champions League final of the 2022/2023 season will be held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul. The game will take place on June 10. Russian clubs do not take part in European competitions in the 2022/2023 season according to the decision of the Union of European Football Associations.
