Anton Sikharulidze appointed Acting President of FFKKR
The Acting President has changed in the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR). This was reported on the website of the organization.
The executive committee of the federation approved the Olympic champion in pair skating Anton Sikharulidze for this post. Director General of the FFKKR Alexander Kogan, who has been acting head of the organization since December 2022, voluntarily resigned from these duties.
According to the charter of the FFFKR, the permanent president will be chosen at the next conference of the organization, which will be held in 2026. “I’m interested, I’m ready to get involved. Until 2026, there is time to gain experience, to delve into all issues,” Sikharulidze said.
On November 17 last year, it became known about the death of the President of the FFKKR Alexander Gorshkov. He has led the organization since June 2010.
