Lyon scores late, beats Toulouse to clinch second straight Ligue 1 win

This Friday, Lyon beat Toulouse by 2-1, in a duel valid for the 31st round of the French Championship, at the Toulouse Municipal Stadium.

With this result, Toulouse remains in 12th place, with 38 points. Lyon, on the other hand, climbs to sixth place, with 50.

Both teams return to the pitch on Sunday, April 23. Toulouse faces Lorient, at 10 am (Brasรญlia time), at Le Moustoir Stadium. On the same day, Lyon will face Olympique de Marseille, at 3:45 pm, at the Groupama Stadium.

Lyon took the lead with Lacazette’s penalty goal in the 34th minute of the first half. Toulouse responded and left everything the same as the 37. Aboukhlal was left with the area and finished to tie. At 21 of the second half, Tolisso had the chance to score one more for the visitors, but hit the crossbar. The visiting team won in the final minutes, with an own goal by defender Costa.
