Dutch Feyenoord beat Italian Roma in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.

The meeting, held at the De Cape stadium in Rotterdam, ended with a score of 1:0. The only goal was scored by 23-year-old midfielder Mats Wiffer. At the 43rd minute, a penalty kick was awarded to the hosts, but Italian midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini did not convert it.

The second match of the teams will take place on April 20 in Rome. The game will start at 22:00 Moscow time.

Meanwhile, in the first leg of the Conference League quarter-final, the English West Ham United drew on the road with the Belgian Gent. The hosts scored Hugo Kuipers, and the guests – Danny Ings. Another goal by the Londoners was canceled after checking the episode using the video assistant referee (VAR) system.

The second game between West Ham United and Gent will take place on 20 April in London. It will start at 22:00 Moscow time.

The 2023 Europa League final will take place on 31 May. The match will take place in Budapest at the Puskas Ferenc Stadium. The final game in the 2023 Conference League will take place on June 7, 2023 in Prague at the Shinobo Stadium. Russian clubs do not take part in European competitions in the 2022/2023 season by decision of UEFA.
