Football player Saba Sazonov spoke about Artem Dzyuba’s requests not to kill him in training
A pupil of “Zenith” Saba Sazonov spoke about the relationship with Artem Dzyuba while playing for the St. Petersburg club. His words are quoted by Sport24.
Sazonov, who now plays for Dynamo, said that he had an aggressive style of play at Zenit. “I trained in iron boots. When he played against Dziuba, he prayed: “Please, Saba, don’t kill us. We are on good terms,” the football player said about the requests of a teammate.
Sazonov represented the youth teams of Zenit until July 2021, when he moved to Dynamo Moscow. The football player, who also has Georgian citizenship, was not called up to the Russian national team and in the fall of 2022 decided to play for the Georgian national team.
Dziuba played for Zenit from 2015 to 2022. As part of the club, he won the championship and the Russian Super Cup four times, and also won the Russian Cup twice. At the moment, the striker defends the colors of Lokomotiv.
