In the 21st minute of the game, striker Karim Benzema struck the opponents’ gate, and in the 70th minute Marco Asensio strengthened the advantage of the hosts. Thus, Real Madrid extended their goal streak in the home matches of the playoffs of the Champions League, which has been going on for 12 years. From the 59th minute, the guests played in the minority, as midfielder Ben Chilwell received a direct red card.
