The coach Christophe Galtier may have his days numbered in the PSG. That’s because the program RMC Sport ‘After-Foot’ revealed on Tuesday that the former director of football at Nice, Julien Fournier, accused the coach, who led the French team at the time, of having used racist and discriminatory words.
The case would have happened in August 2021, when Galtier expressed displeasure to the manager because the squad “has many black and Muslim players”. Fournier sent an email to Nice’s owners expressing his displeasure over the incident, which would have left the Frenchman’s position at the club untenable.
🗣️💬 “We are able to confirm that the email was actually written by Julien Fournier”

According to the Sport newspaper, the accusations have already reached the board of Paris Saint-Germain, which is opening a process to clarify exactly what the coach said. If the racist statements are confirmed, President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi will proceed with the commander’s dismissal.
Galtier arrived at PSG in July 2022 with the mission of turning a star-studded squad into a winning team. However, the technician’s work has been leaving something to be desired, since the team was eliminated from the Champions League and the French Cup in the round of 16.
