The quarterfinals of Champions League continue this Wednesday. Real Madrid e Chelsea face each other at 4 pm (Brasília time), at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The clash is a repeat of last season, when the Spaniards got the better of their rivals. Real Madrid hopes to remain firm in search of another continental title.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti is confident of another good performance by his team in front of the crowd.
“First, think it’s a 120-minute game and try to do it well. It’s not decisive and you have to manage the game. The team is motivated and we hope to relive another magical night at the Bernabéu”, he said.
Unlike last season, Chelsea are not in great shape for the match. Even so, coach Frank Lampard is confident of a good team performance.
“Each new year in football brings a new story. Players have to understand that Real Madrid are a special team and that there are things we cannot control. My focus will not be on last year but on what we can do now. our players, I don’t think this is something completely new. We have to seize the occasion, because levels go up at this stage of the competition. We have to believe that we can perform under that pressure”, he declared.
Milan x Naples
In the other match this Wednesday, Milan and Napoli face off against the Italians at the San Siro. The two teams face each other again after a short time.
In early April, Milan thrashed Napoli at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona by 4-0, for the Italian Championship.
