Ukrainian football player criticized for tears during Premier League match

Viktor Leonenko criticized Arsenal defender Zinchenko for crying during a Premier League match

Former Dynamo Kiev striker Viktor Leonenko criticized the behavior of the Ukrainian defender of Arsenal Oleksandr Zinchenko in the match of the 30th round of the English Premier League (EPL) with Liverpool (2:2). His words are available on Leonenko’s PROSPORT Telegram channel.

“Have you ever seen a player on the bench cry at all? That’s what I saw yesterday. I don’t know if Zinchenko graduated from the Moscow Art Theater or not, we need to check, ”Leonenko said. He was surprised why the tears of a football player do not disgust the fans, because Zinchenko just sat and whined.

Zinchenko has been playing for Arsenal since July 2022. During this time, he played 29 matches in all competitions as part of the team, scored one goal and two assists. Previously, the Ukrainian also played for Manchester City, PSV, Ufa and Shakhtar.

Leonenko is a four-time Ukrainian champion with Dynamo. He also won the National Cup twice with the team.
