Malafeev joked about Dzyuba’s unwillingness to shake hands with Semak

Vyacheslav Malafeev explained the unwillingness of the football player Dziuba to shake hands with Semak with visual impairment

Former Russian national team player Vyacheslav Malafeev on Instagram (the social network is banned in the Russian Federation; it belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and banned) explained the unwillingness of the striker of the Moscow “Locomotive” Artem Dzyuba to shake hands with the head coach of the St. Petersburg “Zenith” Sergei Semak.

The athlete said that Dzyuba should not be blamed. “With age, everyone, even football players, sees worse,” he joked.

On April 9, Zenit defeated Lokomotiv with a score of 2: 1 in the match of the 22nd round of the national championship. After the meeting, Semak went to Dziuba to shake hands, but the athlete did not react to this in any way. Later, the player explained that he did not shake hands with the coach because he did not see him. Semak said he did not see anything wrong with this situation.

34-year-old Dzyuba moved to Lokomotiv on February 8. From 2015 to 2022, the football player played for Zenit, in which he became the champion of Russia four times.
