The trainer called twisting one of the most useless exercises for pumping the press

Coach Reis Mogilner called the most useless exercises for pumping the press. His words are quoted by The Sun.

The specialist said that one of the most ineffective movements is twisting. According to Mogilner, “Russian” and “bicycle” twists can bring benefits, but they are designed to work out the oblique muscles and will not help to flatten the stomach.

A similar result can be achieved when performing the Heel taps movement – the lower press will be tense, but it will not allow pumping the rectus and transverse muscles. For this exercise, you need to lie on a mat, bend your knees and raise your upper body about 30 degrees from the floor. In this position, you need to reach the fingers of your left hand to the left foot, and then with your right hand to the right foot.

Mogilner said that the “Hundred” exercise will also not help to pump the press. For him, lying on his back, it is necessary to raise straight legs by 45 degrees, tear off the upper part of the body from the floor, stretch your arms forward and stay in this position for 100 seconds. In addition, the coach noted the low effectiveness of the bar, adding that it is perfect for strengthening the back muscles.

Earlier, fitness trainer Ruslan Akimov named a way to get in shape for the summer. The expert advised to train three times a week, eat right and walk daily.
