Moscow “Dynamo” lost to Togliatti “Akron” in the semi-finals of the Way of Regions of the Cup of Russia and flew out of the tournament. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The meeting was held in Moscow at the VTB Arena stadium and ended with the victory of the guests, representing the Football National League (FNL), with a score of 4:1 in the penalty shootout. Regular time ended with the score 0:0. Thus, Akron qualified for the second stage of the 1/2 finals of the Path of Regions of the Russian Cup.
The first ticket to the finals of the RPL Path of the Russian Cup earlier on April 4 was earned by Yekaterinburg Ural, which turned out to be stronger than Moscow Spartak in a two-match confrontation. Samara’s Wings of the Soviets and Moscow’s CSKA will compete for the second ticket to the finals of the Way of Regions of the Cup of Russia. The first meeting between the teams ended with the score 2:2.
