Andrey Michkov, the father of Russian hockey player Matvey Michkov, disappeared in Sochi. This is reported by the search team “Lisa Alert” of the Krasnodar Territory in Telegram.
The whereabouts of the 51-year-old man have been reported as unknown since April 2, 2023. According to Match TV, Michkov Sr. left the apartment he rents with his son at 21:00 on April 2. “I’ll be right back,” he said before leaving.
18-year-old Michkov, whose rights belong to SKA, performs on loan at Sochi. In the 2022/2023 season of the Continental Hockey League, the striker played 27 matches in which he scored nine goals and gave 11 assists.
In 2021, the athlete was recognized as the best striker and the most valuable player of the junior world championship. He is considered one of the favorites for the National Hockey League (NHL) draft in 2023.
