Coach Abdullaeva said that lying with a towel under the waist will not help to lose weight
Fitness trainer Evgenia Abdullaeva has dispelled the myth about the benefits of exercises for a flat stomach, developed by Japanese doctor Toshiki Fukutsuji. Her words are quoted by Sport-Express.
The exercise is performed as follows. You need to take a towel and roll it into a roller, which should be no more than 38 centimeters long and 10 centimeters wide. Then you need to lie down on the mat so that the roller is clearly under the lower back. Hands should be extended behind the head, palms should look at the floor, little fingers are connected. The legs must be extended, the heels on the floor, the thumbs should be brought together so that a triangle is obtained. In this position, you need to lie for five minutes.

Abdullayeva said that lying with a towel under her lower back will not help to lose weight. “You can lose weight if you burn more calories than you consume. This is an exercise with very low physical activity, close to zero, ”she explained and added that with the same result, you can lie on the couch and change TV channels.
The trainer also spoke about the benefits of this exercise for the back. “It will work partially, since in this position the skeleton is aligned. But I would remove the roller from under the back, since with it there is an unnatural deflection of the lower back, ”she said.
Earlier, fitness expert Denis Solomin revealed the secret of the “samurai gait” exercise for back health. The specialist said that the exercise is useful for the strength and flexibility of the legs: it improves the mobility of the knee, ankle and hip joints, and also develops muscle strength.
