Brazil has four points and is in second place in Group A. Ecuador, with the same score, leads by having a better goal difference, as it scored 4-0 in Colombia in the last round. The Colombian team has a point, conquered with the tie with Uruguay at the premiere.
In the opening game of the third round of Group A, Chile and Uruguay face each other at 18:30. Both teams are looking for their first victory in the tournament. The Chileans debuted against Brazil and lost, while the Uruguayans, who played in the last round, started with a tie with Colombia.
The top three in the group advance to the hexagonal final of the U-17 South American Championship. The tournament gives four vacancies for the category’s World Championship.
