Andressa Alves is called up to replace Nycole in the Women’s National Team

The CBF announced that the attacking midfielder Andressa Alves, from Roma, was summoned by Pia Sundhage to replace, in the Data Fifa of April, the striker Nycole, from Benfica, who was cut from the Brazilian Team after being diagnosed with an injury to his left knee.

Thus, Andressa will be in the squad that will compete in the Women’s Final against England, next Thursday, at 3:45 pm (Brasília time), in Wembley, and that, on April 11, at 1 pm, will face Germany in a friendly, which takes place at the Max-Morlock-Stadion, in Germany.

It is worth remembering that, in addition to Nycole, Marta suffered an injury to the left posterior biceps femoris and also had to be replaced.

Both games serve as preparation for the World Cup, which takes place between July and August this year, in Australia and New Zealand.

In February, Brazil also participated in the SheBelieves Cup tournament along with Japan, Canada and the United States. With one win and two defeats, Pia’s team ended up in third place.
