Pavlyuchenko called freaks the authors of the Premier League video with the goals of players from all countries without Russians
Former Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko reacted to the non-inclusion of Russian football players in the video of the press service of the English Premier League (EPL). His words are quoted by Match TV.
The football player insulted the creators of the video, calling them freaks. “To be honest, I don’t care. This was to be expected, ”he said, adding that sport has long been part of the political picture of the world.
On March 29, the Premier League posted a video on YouTube that showed the best goals from representatives of all countries whose players played in the Premier League. The video includes players from 103 countries in alphabetical order, but without Russia.
Pavlyuchenko played for Tottenham from 2009 to 2013. He scored 21 goals in 78 matches for the club. In addition to him, the Russians Alexey Smertin, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, Andrey Arshavin and Pavel Pogrebnyak scored in the Premier League.
