Datsik expressed a desire to spar with Johnson if he stays in Moscow
Russian mixed martial arts fighter (MMA) Vyacheslav Datsik announced his desire to participate in training fights with the American Kevin Johnson who defeated him, if he stays in Russia. His words are quoted by Izvestia.
“I hope that Kevin will live in Moscow, and we will be able to spar with him. I tried to take his fists to the galangal, but it didn’t work out, ”Datsik shared. He also highly appreciated the level of professionalism of the American athlete, stressing that he gained valuable experience during the fight.
Earlier, Datsik commented on his loss to Johnson, saying that he did not have enough time to finish off his opponent. Also, according to him, he met Johnson’s headbutts to triple the show for the audience.
Datsik and Johnson fought on the night of Saturday, April 1, in Moscow. The fight lasted all three rounds, at the end of which the majority of judges gave the victory to the American boxer.
