This Friday, Eintracht Frankfurt received Bochum for the 26th round of the Bundesliga and drew 1-1. Takuma Asano opened the scoring for the visitors and Kolo Muani equalized with a penalty in the first half.
With the result, Frankfurt reaches 41 points and remains in sixth place, losing the chance to approach RB Leipzig, which is momentarily in the Europa League classification zone, with 45 points. On the other hand, Bochum reaches its third game without defeats and continues in the fight against relegation. At the moment, the team is in 14th place with 26 points, five more than Hertha Berlin, which opens the Z3.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s next commitment will be for the quarterfinals of the German Cup, this Tuesday at 13:00 (Brasília time), against Union Berlin, at home. Bochum, on the other hand, returns to the field for the Bundesliga on April 9, at 12:30 pm, against VfB Stuttgart, within their domains.
It wasn’t supposed to be with the three points 😐

The game
The match started better for Bochum, who opened the scoring in the 13th minute through striker Takuma Asano, despite several chances created by Eintracht Frankfurt early in the game. However, in the 20th minute, the home team conceded a penalty and converted it with Kolo Muani, one of the top scorers in the Bundesliga.
In the second half, with the score tied, Eintracht did not create as many real goal chances as they had been doing in the final stretch of the first stage, after tying the duel. The scoreboard, therefore, did not change until the end and the home team had to settle for a result that did not help the team in pursuit of a place in the Champions League.
