Now the two compatriots are singing about fidelity despite the physical distance in their relationship patient for you a song that Jambene and Ocean wrote together a couple of years ago.

The song, which also deals with the trials that come along the way of a long-distance couple, debuted on digital platforms on Friday, January 27, and has already amassed more than 1.8 million views on YouTube.

Jambene, who cherishes her Venezuelan roots, also took her origins into consideration when she decided to direct the video for patient for you Venezuelan Karen Bompart. The video was shot at the Palacio de San Francisco, in Bogotá, Colombia, and was produced by the director’s company, Bompart Media.

“Talk about that long-distance love you have. When we were writing this song, I was experiencing something very similar to what the lyrics say. I dedicated the song to a person I love very much,” says Jambene.
