American mixed martial artist (MMA) Justin Geydzhi spoke about a possible duel with Russian Islam Makhachev. His words are available on the TMZSports YouTube channel.
“I think the fight would be tough for everyone. Either way, he’s a champion. I have to perform perfectly,” he said. Geydzhi noted that he could knock out Makhachev.
On March 19, Geydzhi defeated the Azerbaijani Rafael Fiziev at the UFC 286 tournament. The meeting lasted all three rounds. In total, he has 24 wins with four defeats.
On February 12, Makhachev defeated Australian Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284 by unanimous decision. He made his first defense of the organization’s lightweight title won in October. In total, in his professional career, Makhachev won 24 victories and suffered one defeat.
