Lokomotiv forward Artem Dzyuba was recognized as the best player in March in the RPL
Lokomotiv striker Artem Dziuba was named the best player in the Russian Premier League (RPL) in March. This was reported on the official website of the organization.
The forward scored a hat-trick in the match against Rostov, and also scored a goal and made an assist in the game with Krasnodar. Lokomotiv striker Maxim Glushenkov, Dynamo forward Konstantin Tyukavin, Dmitry Vorobyov representing Orenburg and CSKA player Fedor Chalov also claimed the title of Player of the Month.
34-year-old Dziuba signed a contract with Lokomotiv on February 8. The agreement with the Moscow club is valid until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Dziuba is a four-time champion of Russia in the St. Petersburg “Zenith”. Together with the Russian national team, the striker reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 World Cup.
