Ancelotti is no better manager than Lippi, Conte or Allegri, says Pirlo

The Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti is the main target of the CBF to assume command of the Brazilian Team and considered as Brazil players favorite. However, in Andrea Pirlo’s opinion, Ancelotti is not the best Italian coach in world football.

“The number one? Due to his human and technical quality, Ancelotti has won more victories than anyone else and in all championships, but how can you put him ahead of Lippi, Conte or Allegri? They are different. Playing well or not: who he wins,” said former player and current coach Andrea Pirlo to the Italian newspaper Gazzeta dello Sport.

Pirlo was coached by all the aforementioned coaches and Carlo Ancelotti was the coach with whom he worked the most. There were 327 games under the command of the Italian in the Milanhaving won two Champions Leaguesone Club World Cup it is a Italian Championship.

With the shirt of Juventus, Pirlo was coached by both Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri. “Where do I look for inspiration? I’ve worked with the best, learning from everyone. However, I have my own philosophy, making a synthesis of all experiences”, added Pirlo, who chose Pep Guardila as the best coach in the world.
