Messi’s transfer fee has dropped to 45 million euros for the first time since 2007
Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi’s transfer fee was €45m. Updated data is available on the Transfermarkt website.
The 35-year-old is worth a record low of under €50m for the first time since 2007. In November 2022, Transfermarkt valued Messi at 50 million euros, and his maximum value was 180 million euros in 2018.
On March 13, L’Équipe reported that PSG had doubts about continuing to cooperate with Messi after the team’s second consecutive elimination from the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. It was noted that negotiations with the striker are not moving forward. Later, Footmercato spoke about Messi’s intention to return to Barcelona.
