The Eusko Label and Euskotren 2023 Leagues will begin on July 1 in A Coruña

With less than 100 days to go before the start of the season, the members of the Association of Trainera Clubs (ACT) have approved this Saturday, March 25, both the budget for the year 2023 as the schedule for this campaignand they have done it in the Bermeo Fisherman’s Museum.
The approved budget guarantees an attractive calendar for the two competitions organized by the ACT that are consolidated in 10 weeks of competition, with the dispute of 20 days of the Eusko Label Liga and 14 of the Euskotren League.
The first weekend of July, A Coruña will witness the first shovelfuls of a season that will have eight female participants for the first time in a Euskotren Liga that will end on August 20 in Zarautz.
The 2023 season, without a break until September, will culminate in the case of the Eusko Label Liga on September 17 with the dispute over the El Corte Inglés – Portugalete City Council Flag and with the delivery to the winner of the CaixaBank Crown League.
Throughout the summer, the clubs of the Eusko Label Liga and the Euskotren Liga will play four days in Galician waters being the first time that the women’s competition disputed 4 regattas in Galician waters. Moaña will host one of the four Galician events for the best drifters that, with the rise of Samertolameu, will once again vibrate with the competition and the ‘fan zone’ as it did in the 2009 and 2015 seasons. Cantabria will also have a presence on the calendar with the traditional dispute over the CaixaBank Flag in Castro-Urdiales and Euskadi, with 15, will be the territory that hosts the most days of drifters in this 2023.
