The specialist called push-ups on the fingers the most difficult. He noted that in this version of the exercise, the load goes to the muscles of the hands, fingers and forearms. “These push-ups play an important role in contact sports, where you need a powerful grip and a strong fist. Also, the exercise will help to work with large weights in the gym, ”the coach shared.

The next type of push-ups is on the fists. Khodyrev said that this type helps in staging strikes, strengthens the hands, trains the impact surface of the fist, therefore it is actively used by martial artists.

Khodyrev advised beginners to do classic push-ups on the palms. He noted that during the exercise, the triceps are most actively involved, as well as the muscles of the shoulders and chest.
