The coach of the national football team of Ukraine Rotan urged to reject countries playing with Russia
Interim head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Ruslan Rotan condemned the countries that play matches with Russia. His words are quoted by the Observer.
“We need to talk about it and reject those with whom Russia is playing, not even remember them,” he said. The coach called the most correct decision not to pay attention to these countries.
On March 23, the Russian national team will play a match against Iran in Tehran. On March 26, a home meeting with the team of Iraq is scheduled.
On February 28, 2022, the International Football Federation and the Union of European Football Associations excluded Russian teams and clubs from international tournaments. Domestic clubs do not play in European competitions, and the Russian team was deprived of the opportunity to compete for reaching the finals of the 2022 World Cup.
