Russian footballer Khaykin said he didn’t get a chance in the English “Bristol City”
Russian football player Nikita Khaikin explained the termination of the contract with the English club Bristol City. It is reported by Sport24 with reference to Pushka Sports.
“I didn’t get a chance. You can understand the coach – he did not change the winning team. But this situation did not suit me either, ”said the goalkeeper. He added that his short-term contract was coming to an end, so he agreed to the offer of the Norwegian Bodé-Glimt, who offered him a longer-term and more profitable project.
In January 2023, Khaikin left Boude-Glimt and moved to Bristol City on a free transfer. In the English team, he did not play a single match. The termination of cooperation became known on March 22.
Khaikin has been playing for Boude-Glimt since March 2019. In total, as part of the Norwegian club, he played 121 matches and was not marked by effective actions.
