The confrontation of the Ecuadorian Michael Morales with the American Trevin Giles, in the framework of the UFC 270 card next January, would have been located in the area of ​​the preliminaries, revealed this Wednesday a reporter from USA Today, Nolan King.

A tweet from King, which accounts for “the current lineup” of UFC 270 “to be announced”, shows that Morales’ lawsuit against Giles will be the eighth, in ascending order, and no longer one of those corresponding to the main card, as anticipated last October ESPN.

The two main fights in which belts will be unified are kept in the same order: the stellar between Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane, in the heavyweight division; and the co-star between Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo, at featherweight. The penultimate will star Jared Cannonier vs. Derek Brunson, at middleweight.

So far it is known that UFC 270 will have fourteen mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, to be played on January 22 at the Honda Center sports hall in Anaheim, California.

The Ecuadorian welterweight (12-0 MMA) will debut in the company before a seasoned Giles (14-3-0 MMA, 5-3 UFC).
