Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture of the State University of Management (SUM) Irina Kabanova spoke about exercises to relax the neck and shoulder girdle. Her words leads Life.

“Perform tilts and turns of the head to the right, to the left, tilt forward. The final exercise in this block is to roll the head from one shoulder to the other through a forward tilt, ”the specialist explained, adding that it would also be useful to do twisting of the torso. She noted that tilting the head back with tension in the neck is not recommended.

In addition, Kabanova gave recommendations on relieving tension from the legs during sedentary work. “You can do tapping your feet on the floor, then rolling your feet from heel to toe and circular movements in the ankle joints, straightening your legs,” she said.

Earlier, fitness instructor Sergei Trukhin advised simple exercises for office workers. The trainer suggested smoothly turning the head to the side, raising and lowering the shoulders. The specialist also recommended to perform tilts and twists and do not forget about hand exercises.
