Norwegian Norman explained that he accepted the offer of Dynamo because of the desire to play in Moscow
Norwegian Dynamo footballer Matthias Normann explained the decision to return to Russia. His words are quoted by Sport-Express.
“I don’t understand the surprise of many with my decision to return to Russia. For me, Moscow, Norway, England are places where I can play, and football is football, and it is the same everywhere. So I don’t see this as a problem, ”said the athlete.
Norman noted that he did not hesitate to accept the Dynamo offer because he wanted to play in Moscow. “This is the best thing that could happen to me,” he concluded, adding that he was happy in the capital.
On September 6, 2022, Normann was suspended from the Norwegian national team. The decision was made due to the participation of a football player in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
From 2019 to 2021, Norman played for Rostov, after which he spent a year at the English Norwich on loan. In the fall of 2022, the player was loaned out again to Dynamo. As part of the Moscow club, he played ten matches and did not score with effective actions.
