Harry Kane and Brighton standout could reinforce United next season

Seeking to strengthen its squad for the next season, the Manchester United watches two players from Premier League rivals, according to the Daily Mail. These are strikers Harry Kane, from Tottenham, and Mitoma, from Brighton.

Tottenham would not want to sell his number 10 shirt to a rival, but the striker wants to stay in England to break the record and become the highest scorer in Premier League history, 57 goals short of surpassing Alan Shearer in the artillery.

Kane has a year left on his contract, but his club are asking for £100m (£64m) in cash to release the player.

O United wants a striker to replace the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, but does not intend to enter into long negotiations so as not to jeopardize Ten Hag’s search for a striker. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are also interested in the player.

In addition to Kane, Kaoru Mitoma is also an option that the Red Devils should explore to strengthen their roster next season. The Japanese has been one of Brighton’s main highlights in the team’s surprising campaign in the championship, occupying seventh place.

The 25-year-old could arrive at Old Trafford through a deal that would involve the likes of Martial and Elanga, both of whom would go to Brighton. Under Roberto de Zerbi, Mitoma has scored nine goals and provided six assists in all competitions.
