The defender of Barcelona Ronald Araújo, summoned by the selection of the Uruguaysuffered a muscle injury in his left leg, reported this Monday the Catalan club.
The Uruguayan Football Association has already announced that the defender will be cut from the next FIFA date and defender Sebastián Cáceres, from América-MEX, will take his place.
Medical tests found “an injury to the adductor of the left thigh,” Barca said in a statement.

Araújo played the full 90 minutes of the classic against Real Madrid on Sunday, which Barcelona won 2-1, but ended the match complaining of pain.
Barcelona did not inform the recovery time, limiting itself to stating that it will monitor the player’s evolution.
According to local newspapers, Barça hopes to count on Araújo for the next game of the Spanish Championship against Elche, on April 1st, or for the derby against Real Madrid in the return of the Copa del Rey semifinals, four days later.
