Called up for the first time by the France national team on Thursday, Fofana was injured on Saturday against Everton and his replacement will be Nice’s Todibo, who is also a debutant.

A 2022 World Cup finalist with the French national team, Disasi of Monaco was also rushed into the squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against the Netherlands on 24 March and Ireland on 27 March.
