Lawyer Maxim Kalinov gave a legal assessment of the incident involving the father-in-law of the Russian striker of Fiorentina Alexander Kokorin Ruslan Valitov. This was reported by Gazeta.ru.
A criminal lawyer shared his reasoning regarding the consequences and possible punishment for Valitov from the point of view of the law. Kalinov stressed that in this case we can only talk about a civil case. Lev Matveev, who was attacked by Valitov, can file a claim for damage to property. Criminal prosecution does not threaten Kokorin’s father-in-law, since he did not harm Matveyev’s health.
Earlier on November 17, it became known that Valitov attacked the head of a large IT company Lev Matveyev. Kokorin’s father-in-law decided that the man was moving too fast in a car. Waiting for Matveyev to stop at the gates of his own cottage, Valitov approached him, hit the car, and then attacked Matveyev himself.
The incident took place in the suburbs. Matveev has already contacted the police. In his opinion, the attacker was under the influence of drugs.
