There are new details about the operations carried out by the Olympic champion in figure skating Roman Kostomarov. They are reported by Moskovsky Komsomolets, citing sources in medical circles.
“First, both feet were amputated to Kostomarov, then the lower legs of both legs. They also amputated the entire hand,” said one source. Another source said that the doctors have not yet decided on the operation on the second arm of the athlete.
He noted that Kostomarov’s body was very weak, the athlete lost more than 50 kilograms. “When he regained consciousness, he exhausted everyone, figuratively speaking, in the sense of the entire medical staff.
