Without Sterling and Arnold, England called up for Euro 2024 qualifiers

This Thursday, the England was called up for the first time after the World Cup, in which the team succumbed in the quarterfinals to runner-up France. Coach Gareth Southgate left only three names out of the World Cup list: Raheem Sterling, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben White.

The two newcomers were Marc Guehi, from Crystal Palace, and striker Ivan Toney, from Brentford, one of the highlights of the Premier League this season.

The players were called up to play in the first two rounds of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. On March 23 and 26, the team will face Italy and Ukraine, respectively, in search of a place in the main European selection tournament.
