Fitness trainer Ekaterina Karina spoke about self-study at home. It is reported by Mosregtoday.ru.

The specialist warned about the dangers of such training. “If you take flexibility and stretching, then it is dangerous to practice without the supervision of a coach, since one awkward movement can lead to serious injuries: sprains or muscle tears,” said Karina.

The coach also gave advice to those who decided to work out at home anyway. “I would recommend going to the gym at least once and working out with a personal trainer who will show you how to do the exercises correctly, perhaps write down the food if a person wants to lose weight,” said Karina.

Earlier, sports medicine doctor Mark Ozolin spoke about the dangers of bodybuilding and its impact on life expectancy. The specialist said that in order to achieve results in a short time, bodybuilders resort to the use of anabolic steroids, which leads to poor health.
