Fitness trainer suggested massage and warm showers for recovery between workouts
Fitness trainer Svetlana Butova spoke about the right way to recover after playing sports. Her words are quoted by Sport-Express.
The specialist recommended that professional athletes take a rest every seven to ten days. For those who just keep fit, pauses are needed after one or two days. The main thing, according to Butova, is to focus on the needs of the body. Signs of fatigue can include muscle soreness, feeling sluggish after exercise, increased injury rates, irritability, and sleep disturbances.
To recover, the expert advised me to take a warm shower, massage, reduce stress or eliminate it completely for one or two days. Timely, proper rest will help prevent injuries, replenish the body’s energy reserves and reduce muscle pain.
Earlier, fitness expert Sarah Coomer talked about a way to motivate yourself to exercise. She advised me to find the kind of physical activity that will make me feel strong and confident.
