Russians have the opportunity to issue a Fan ID remotely

The Ministry of Digital Development announced the possibility of issuing a Fan ID remotely from March 15

The Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation (Mintsifra) is launching a remote issuance of a fan card (Fan ID) to attend matches of the Russian Premier League. This was reported on the website of the department.

It is noted that such an opportunity will appear from March 15. The card can be issued remotely using a new passport or biometrics from the Unified Biometric System (UBS). “In addition, from March 15, biometric identification will also be available through the State Services portal from a computer (a camera and a microphone will be required),” the message says.

Those who do not want to use remote services will be able to apply for a Fan ID, as before, at the MFC. To do this, you first need to submit an application on the “Gosuslugi” or the application “Gosuslugi Fan Card”. Then it will be necessary to confirm the data directly at the MFC.

The State Duma adopted the law on Fan ID in December 2021. To enter the stands for RPL matches, each fan must have a personalized spectator card, which was previously impossible to issue remotely.
