“We will not deal with strikers,” replies Miguel Ángel Loor before another attempt to paralyze the arbitration union
“The alliance has pending payments since 2018. By 2020 they owed us $600,000 and a payment plan was made, but with the (COVID-19) pandemic, the debt has risen sharply“, said Muentes, for an amount that would amount to 1,800,000 dollars.

It’s not the referees who paralyze the Serie A tournament, “We’re not stopping the tournament, it’s already stopped,” Muentes saidbefore the paralysis in which the tournament passed last Friday, in search of a solution to manage the television rights of the national championships.
Muentes announced it the union has a meeting with Ecuafútbol. “We ask for your understanding of the situation in which our judges find themselves, we are not asking that they pay us everything, what we want is a solution for them to pay us,” he said. (D)
