The agent spoke about the possible sale of Zakharyan to Chelsea in transit through the Armenian club
Agent German Tkachenko revealed the option of selling Dynamo player Arsen Zakharyan to Chelsea in circumvention of sanctions. His words are quoted by Sports.ru.
Tkachenko called transit through a third party a way to sell the 19-year-old midfielder – for example, an Armenian club, where a football player would have to play for at least four months. “The instant transfer of Zakharyan from the Armenian club to Chelsea could also be considered a circumvention of the sanctions,” he explained.
Tkachenko also said that transferring Dynamo transfer money through Zakharyan would force Chelsea to cover 42 percent of income tax on 15 million euros, as this would be the player’s personal income, which did not suit the English club. “Therefore, the way out for Zakharyan is to sell to the Armenian club. For them, the ransom amount of 15 million does not work, so Dynamo should also show goodwill, ”said the agent.
Chelsea’s interest in Zakharyan became known on August 25, 2022. On September 1, Dynamo announced that the transfer of the midfielder would not take place due to technical problems.
