Journalist Romano: footballer Kylian Mbappe wants to win the Champions League with PSG
French PSG striker Kylian Mbappe is not working on leaving the club after the team’s elimination from the Champions League, journalist Fabrizio Romano said in a video on YouTube.
As it became known from a source, the 24-year-old footballer is not in talks with other clubs about leaving. It is noted that he has not decided on his future. Mbappe is involved in the affairs of the team and wants to win the Champions League with the team. In addition, PSG bosses want to keep the striker in the squad in order to build a team around him.
PSG were knocked out of the 2022/2023 Champions League on March 8. In the 1/8 finals, the team lost to Bayern Munich, losing in the first match 0:1, and in the second – 0:2.
Mbappe joined PSG in 2018. The contract with the Parisians is for three seasons and expires on June 30, 2025. The player’s salary is 57 million euros per year after taxes.
