Former football player of the Russian national team Ari said he would like to become a State Duma deputy
Former striker of the Russian national team Ari, now representing the Brazilian Atlético Cearense, announced his desire to start a political career. His words are quoted by Sport24.
The football player said that he helps those in need in the Brazilian city where he used to live. For this, the locals called him a deputy and made him think about a new career. “In the future, I would really like to become a State Duma deputy. I’ve already thought about it twice, ”said the Brazilian.
In the Russian Premier League (RPL), Ari played from 2010 to 2018. His first club in Russia was Spartak Moscow. Ari also defended the colors of Krasnodar and the capital’s Lokomotiv. With the latter, he became the champion of Russia and the owner of the Cup of the country.
In July 2018, Ari received Russian citizenship. He also took part in two matches for the Russian national team.
