Hannover say Ondua gets little time due to poor performance
The German football club “Hannover” assessed the accusations of midfielder Gael Ondua in a biased attitude because of a Russian passport. It is reported by TASS.
Representatives of the team said that the player receives little playing time this season due to low performance. They emphasized that Ondua was given chances to prove himself in training and in matches in the second Bundesliga. “We talked to the player about his situation and frankly reported the sports assessment,” Hannover added.
On March 6, Ondua spoke about the problems at Hannover. The football player said that the club no longer counts on him because of Russian citizenship.
Ondua has passports from Cameroon and Russia, as his father worked at the African country’s embassy. The football player played for the youth teams of the Moscow Lokomotiv and CSKA, as well as for the Makhachkala Anji.
