João Félix projects Chelsea’s duel against Dortmund for the Champions League: “If we do things well, we will win”

In a press conference this Monday, the Portuguese João Félix projected the confrontation of the Chelsea against Borussia Dortmund, which takes place this Tuesday, at 5 pm (Brasília time), at the Stamford Bridge stadium, in London, for Champions League.

“Pressure is zero. This is our job, we have to enjoy and win games. Our levels of trust and care are high. If we do things well, we can win. I love playing in the Champions League, everyone loves it. It’s a special competition and I hope that after 90 minutes we can celebrate,” said the 23-year-old.

João Félix took the opportunity to talk about his experience at the English club, which he arrived in January 2023.

“Nobody knows the future. I just want to focus on tomorrow’s game. After that, we don’t know what’s going to happen, but the club is so big and amazing. That’s why I’m happy to be here. I think I needed the loan. When I left Atlético I said it would be good for me and for them. I think it was the perfect compromise, just trying to do something different. I always try to do my best, but it didn’t work there. So I needed to change to see if things happened differently.”, confessed the Portuguese striker.

It is worth remembering that in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, at the Signal Iduna Park stadium, in Dortmund, Chelsea were defeated by Borussia Dortmund by 1-0, with a goal by Karim Adeyemi. Thus, to continue in the competition, Graham Potter’s team will have to beat the Germans by two goals difference, if they want to settle the bill in normal time.
