With little space at United, Van de Beek is monitored by Arsenal

Donny Van de Beek didn’t stick with the Manchester United until now. With little space in the starting lineup, the midfielder is being monitored by the Arsenal. The information is from the English newspaper Manchester Evening News.

According to the publication, the 24-year-old Dutchman would be well regarded by Gunners as a possible boost in the next transfer window. The team, led by Mikel Arteta, has some standouts in the sector, such as Thomas Partey, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Granit Xhaka. The latter, however, is injured until the end of the year.

Van de Beek has played 41 games for United since joining the club in September 2020. This season, he has only appeared on the field five times, starting twice. The lack of time in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first team does not please the athlete. The Norwegian coach himself understands that the midfielder “is not happy”.

linked to Red Devils by June 2025, Donny Van de Beek was bought by the English club for 39 million euros (£243 million). He stood out as a young man in the Ajax, who reached the semifinals of the Champions League 2018/19.
